Prime Minister Starmer appeared before MPs today and answered their questions. What he said was essentially an open secret. He admitted that appointing Mandelson as ambassador to the USA was his mistake, that he took responsibility, and then apologized. He acknowledged that a security investigation had been opened into Mandelson and admitted that he had unintentionally misled MPs.

As Bymigrant, let’s say this first: Starmer’s stance on Iran was truly significant. He even tolerated Trump’s follies to avoid dragging the country into war, and he succeeded. This is a very important lesson for Trump, and for that reason alone, he deserves another chance. Let’s also acknowledge that his resignation at this stage would not benefit the country.
BADENOCH’S REMARKS
Following Starmer’s statements, Conservative Party leader Badenoch took the podium and brought up another issue that no one had thought of, no journalist had considered, and therefore no one had asked about. His words will fundamentally change the case concerning Mandelson.
The simple yet crucial question Badenoch asked was: What was in the security report on Lord Mandelson, and why was the report negative? It seems simple, but considering his friend Epstein’s close ties to Israel and Russia, we can acknowledge that this is a very important question. Now, the intelligence agencies must provide the answer to this question: ‘Why was a negative security report issued regarding Mandelson? Were his connections to Russia and Israel identified? Was the report negative solely because of his relationship with Epstein?’
If Starmer wants his apology accepted, he must demand an answer to this question and a public explanation from those who issued the vetting report, explaining why they published it.
Badenoch actually asked a historic question, and that’s the real question that needs answering!
