Harry and Meghan have completed their busy four-day visit to Australia’s east coast.
Their itinerary included experiences of indigenous culture, Australian sports, various charitable activities, and a sightseeing tour.
Harry and Meghan’s trip felt like a royal tour – except many Aussies weren’t interested.
Their visit didn’t attract much attention, and Australians didn’t take them very seriously. They are treated like royalty everywhere they go, traveling with that air, acting as if they are performing a duty for the Royal Family and the UK. If they didn’t act like royalty, nobody would take them seriously. If they are still treated with respect and dignity, it’s not because of themselves, but because of the Royal Family they refused to join.
It’s actually a hypocritical situation. They left the palace. Prince Harry gave up everything, including the crown, but he still continues to use the Royal Family. We don’t know why they use a family they don’t accept.
Anyway, they continue to receive respect because of this title. It’s clear that neither of their careers has generated any respect. Because of the identity they rejected, they both get work from places like Netflix and continue to be respected worldwide.
