London has become one of the most crime-ridden cities in the world. It’s impossible to freely use your phone in the city center. Supermarkets are overwhelmed by theft. In just 10 years, nearly 700,000 pickpockets have broken into H&M supermarkets, and this is truly alarming. The police’s disregard and inadequacy in dealing with theft has made London a strong contender for the title of the world’s most dangerous city.
For London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, this doesn’t matter. Because of him, the Labour Party lost almost all of London’s boroughs, and he will likely lose the next election as well, but he’s playing his mayor game in his own little world.
Most recently, Khan sparked a dispute with the Metropolitan Police after blocking a £50 million AI deal with Palantir.
According to The Guardian, Scotland Yard described the mayor’s decision as disappointing and warned it could impact policing.
Warnings are useless because Sadiq Khan is not one to understand them. The only thing he understands about being mayor is keeping bus ticket prices fixed. He hasn’t accomplished anything else in three terms. But he’s still confident he’ll be re-elected. Because the religious nationalism of London’s Muslim population is a significant comforting factor for him… He believes that Muslims will re-elect him as mayor no matter what, and that’s why he uses veiled women on a large portion of his billboards to make subliminal messages.
Of course, this group needs to get rid of religious nationalism first, but how?
