Former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has defended herself, saying she was married for years to someone she didn’t know. Following her ex-husband Peter Murrell’s admission of embezzling hundreds of thousands of pounds from the SNP, she blamed him, saying she was “deceived, betrayed and lied to” in order to maintain her independence.
The former Prime Minister spoke for the first time since Murrell’s admission of guilt, stating she was trying to come to terms with the realities of being married to someone she “never knew.”
But a question remains:
Why and how did Sturgeon’s husband Murrell embezzle the party’s money? Where and how did he get this power? What was Sturgeon doing while the money was going into her pocket? Did she know about this money? Did she never see her husband’s bank accounts? Did she not notice, did she not sense, that her husband was embezzling money? Did her husband carry out this operation in great secrecy?
But the real question is:
Did Murrel sacrifice himself to save his wife?
