Some media outlets opposed to ReformUK and Nigel Farage have begun to specifically target and criticize the racist ReformUK candidate(s) after ReformUK’s overwhelming victory. Farage and his party aren’t directly targeted, but these two are the main focus of the criticism. One candidate is racist and has allegedly called for a ban on Muslims voting. If there weren’t certain facts, we could truly call this racist, but a small detail excuses this statement. A ban won’t solve any problems, but it’s important not to overlook the fact that there’s a real reason behind the demand for a ban.
Especially in cities like London and Birmingham, the Muslim population is increasing. It’s estimated that over 3 million Muslims live in London alone. This is why Sadiq Khan, despite being the worst mayor in history, was elected for three terms and could seemingly remain in office forever. Because there’s a strange kind of religious nationalism among Muslims. The prevailing mentality is, “As long as he’s one of us, it doesn’t matter if he’s useless.” Muslim solidarity brings about a kind of religious nationalism, which leads Muslims to vote for other Muslims under any circumstances.
This is what should actually be banned, but it’s unlikely to be done by force. In a country where freedoms exist, restricting people’s voting rights is a fascist method. There’s no chance of resolving this legally. However, there’s nothing left to do but wait for Muslims with this religiously nationalist mindset to come to their senses.
