Another unbelievable piece of news. Five divers in the Maldives lost their lives underwater while exploring caves. All five died at once. The Foreign Ministry in Rome announced that five Italians had died in a scuba diving accident in the Maldives. The ministry stated, “It is believed that the divers died while trying to explore caves at a depth of 50 meters (164 feet),” adding that the incident occurred in the Vaavu Atoll. Such news has become increasingly common in recent years. What’s unbelievable is that five divers died simultaneously.
Did they die because they were all in the same cave at the same time, or did they all lose their lives because they made the same mistake in the same cave? Were they all careless? Of course, there are many questions: What were they going to find in the underwater caves? Were they searching for treasure? Is there any chance of finding anything other than seaweed in underwater stores?
Were they hoping to find some unpleasant creature? It’s incomprehensible that five expert divers would so easily accept their deaths! At least they should have left a note somewhere before diving. It’s truly difficult to understand how such skilled people could die so easily.
