A Labour MP who resigned from his Cabinet Office post said he was “pure” and “very sorry” after leaving his post. Josh Simons resigned on February 28 after facing allegations that the think tank he headed before becoming an MP commissioned a report examining the backgrounds of journalists.
He has resigned, but the real question remains: Why would a think tank investigate the backgrounds of journalists? Could it be to find a past mistake and threaten them? Then another question arises: For whom does this think tank work, or what sources does it get its funding from?
It seems that our brother Simons, unable to produce ideas, may have thought, “Let me produce threats.” There are actually many unnecessary institutions in this country. Many of them do work for the state and make big money. For example, this think tank needs to explain what kind of ideas it contributes to the benefit of the country. If there are no ideas, only threats, then that institution is already unnecessary. Why do people who head such institutions want to become MPs or ministers? To increase the effectiveness of their own companies and to be closer to the state. Thus, to generate threats and earn more money by preventing the creation of original ideas.
If this country has a reputable think tank, why do dozens of problems still persist? They have no solution to the immigration issue. They haven’t really criticized the reasons for the terrible state of the economy. Generally, a bunch of unnecessary people come, create their own ghettos, and start saving the world. The best thing they do is contribute to the creation of enemies.
Nevertheless, it’s good that our brother Simons resigned. At least we understand that he has some sense of shame
