Badenoch save the conservatives from falling apart? Or will she surrender

Kemi Badenoch’s Conservative Party is at a turning point. Key figures are leaving one by one. After Robert Jenrick, it’s reported that three more will defect to ReformUK.

Badenoch, having received early warning of Jenrick’s departure, expelled him from the party, but this doesn’t change the fact that the Conservatives are a party in decline. Hard as it is to accept, ReformUK is moving towards becoming a center-right party and will most likely replace the Conservative Party.

Since taking over the leadership, Badenoch has been active and has had a very successful performance, but this hasn’t been reflected in the polls because of a decade of failure, and she is blamed for the current economic difficulties.

Badenoch has two options: take much tougher measures to keep the party afloat, or allow it to become the third-largest party.

We will see which path she chooses.
