Trump and the Pentagon have begun to blame other factors for their failures against Iran, instead of blaming themselves. Their latest culprit is Putin. According to them, Putin is providing Iran with tactical and intelligence support. It’s possible. China might do the same.
But if you’re going to wage war against a major power like Iran, you need to consider the consequences and implement strategies accordingly. It seems Trump and his team didn’t even consider the possibility that Iran’s only weapon, the Strait of Hormuz, could be closed. Trump has officially failed because he appointed people with the same lack of foresight as himself.
They’ve started to point to Putin as the reason for a potential failure. For now, they’re not saying Putin “gave Iran missiles,” but they’re openly stating that he provided strategic and intelligence support.
Trump might soon declare war on Russia. He might even say, “Capture Putin within 48 hours and bring him to the USA.”
If Trump and his team are smart, they should also consider this: If Russia and China have started secretly or openly supporting Iran, this war will never end. You have to be either stupid or Trump not to understand this.
They might start blaming China tomorrow as well. They have plenty of excuses, as long as they want to… and if there’s an American public willing to sleep, they can continue to sleep.
