What happened in Mexico, why was the Cartel leader killed? A few reasons?

mexico

Reggie Regg UK– Mexican police are searching for a group of prisoners who escaped from a prison in Puerto Vallarta during a series of attacks orchestrated by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) on Sunday.

Looting, which began after the killing of cartel leader El Mencho, continues, and dozens of prisoners have escaped due to the destruction of prisons.

The French government apparently didn’t anticipate the escalation of events to this extent when they killed the cartel leader. The scale of the events also reflects the cartels’ influence within the country. Cartel leaders are generally well-liked by the public because they share a portion of their drug sales with the people, without expecting anything in return.

Politicians who govern the state also seem to love cartel leaders. They use the cartel leaders’ constitutional status as a means to extort bribes or advance in their careers.

For the police and military, cartels are the easiest way to make a fortune.

The truly strange thing is why a mafia leader, known for decades, suddenly became a target of the government. At some point, the interests of the mafia and the government, or those running the government, may have clashed. The existence of the mafia shouldn’t have bothered the Mexican government. Perhaps they didn’t receive a sufficient share of the spoils. Or they realized that other individuals were receiving more money than them.

A government that is bothered by the mafia wouldn’t allow one to exist in the first place. Everyone knows there are multiple cartels in Mexico. Even Trump mentions this at every opportunity.

Escaped prisoners are easiest to deal with if they are still within the country. But it becomes difficult if mafia members are among them.
