Iran announced today that it has suppressed the popular uprising. Hundreds of people lost their lives. The mullahs think they will stay in power forever. Even if they didn’t survive this uprising, they certainly won’t be able to stay in their seats in the next one.
Meanwhile, Trump made an important statement, saying that the mullahs want to negotiate with the US. Can Iran negotiate? Yes, because the mullahs are clinging to power and are ready to make any concessions to avoid leaving their positions. Trump announced that military action is also on the table.
The mullahs still haven’t understood because religion has blinded them. They still think they can end the uprisings by killing protesters. Either Iran will change, the people will be freed from living under oppression, the economy will be fixed, and the mullahs will improve their relations with the world, or they will go. There is no other alternative.
