German Chancellor Friedrich Merz finally responded to Trump. Trump, while blaming NATO forces for the major defeat in Afghanistan, made a huge gaffe by saying, “We fought on the front lines. British, German, and French soldiers were behind the lines,” only making a small correction later regarding British soldiers. Now, out of nowhere, he has attacked Germany, accusing them of not having enough soldiers killed.
Chancellor Merz stated:
“We are carefully listening to the comments coming from across the Atlantic. I say to President Trump: Germany does not have to apologize for its loyalty. 59 German soldiers lost their lives in Afghanistan under the flag of a NATO mission created to protect the United States.”
Trump has no sense of shame. We don’t think he will respond. Furthermore, no country is obliged to disclose how many soldiers they lost; they have to prove it. The USA conducted the Afghanistan operation and had to bear the consequences. If you consider yourself a leading nation, you have to pay the price. Complaining about everything might suit Trump, but it doesn’t suit the US. While the USA doesn’t deserve Trump, some Americans certainly deserve him.

Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar, a Somali-American who is constantly targeted by Trump, was attacked by an extreme anti-immigrant group while speaking. Trump has begun to incite his own fanatical supporters and portray people as enemies.
