Iranian leaders have repeatedly stated that they are not afraid of the USA, but a state without the support of its people has no choice but to fear. Finally, in their statement today, they announced their readiness to negotiate a halt to nuclear activities.
The mullahs are forced to make any concessions to protect their sacred regime. They cannot risk conflict with any country, especially the USA. A potential conflict could be the end of the regime.
Meanwhile, the anti-democratic elements within the country and the brutal treatment of the regime’s guards by the people continue. If the negotiations result in an agreement, the Iranian people will continue to be oppressed. Because the USA has never been concerned with democracy and human rights. Their only concern is the short-term and long-term interests of the country. The USA doesn’t consider whether a country is a dictatorship or a democracy; they use these as pretexts. For example, they have very good relations with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other dictatorships, and they mutually exploit each other. As long as they continue to exploit these dictatorships, it doesn’t matter to the USA.
If the result is an agreement, which Iran has no choice but to accept, it means the Iranian people are once again left alone and hopeless.
