While the war between Ukraine and Russia is being discussed globally, and both sides are moving closer to peace, a completely different incident has come to the forefront in Türkiye.
It has been revealed that 500 children who traveled from Ukraine to the Turkish province of Antalya were sexually abused and two orphaned girls became pregnant. According to a report in the Agos newspaper, 500 children who lost their families in the war were sent to Türkiye for better conditions. Turkey placed these children in hotels and then abandoned them without further attention. It is likely that hotel staff abused and raped the girls among the 500 orphans, impregnating two of them, and the incident erupted in the media.
The Turkish government did not deny the report. It was only stated that the children were being sent back to their country by Ukrainian authorities. In other words, Turkey is a country full of maniacs capable of raping orphaned children victimized by war. Amnesty is granted every 10 years for all crimes except political crimes in the country, and it has been announced that 50,000 more will be pardoned in the coming days. Thousands of people imprisoned for theft, rape, perversion, pedophilia, stabbing, wounding, and even murder will be freed with the amnesty to be issued, and they will likely continue to refrain from committing similar crimes.
While there will be no amnesty for those who criticize the government or President Erdoğan, the perverts will be released back into society.
