Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown stated today that the police should question former Prince Andrew. It’s difficult to understand what the police are waiting for. Even Prime Minister Starmer accused Lord Mandelson of treason, yet the police still didn’t act, only managing to search his home under pressure, and then abandoning the case saying, “It’s a complex case. We need more evidence.”

The situation is similar with Andrew. Despite the King’s approval and request, the police still haven’t acted on his case. It’s hard to understand what they’re waiting for.
Let’s ask the real question: Does the police only have power over the powerless, those not from the royal family, those without peerage or parliamentary representation? If the same accusations were made against any ordinary citizen, the police would have immediately acted, started arrests, and made statements lasting hours.
So it’s the same everywhere in the world. Justice exists only for the powerless. For the powerful, a different justice mechanism comes into play.
