Ukrainian President Zelensky continues his tourist visits. Most recently, he came to the UK to meet with Keir Starmer. For over two years, they’ve been meeting constantly, talking about the same things, and then dispersing. European leaders keep repeating the same rhetoric, and Zelensky keeps thanking the same leaders for their support, but nothing changes.
Nothing changed during his visit to the UK either. Russia and Putin were criticized again. Starmer said Putin didn’t want peace and declared that they would continue to support Ukraine.
The only thing that changed during Zelensky’s visits was that he started wearing suits. Other than that, there has been no development. These meetings neither end the war nor pressure Russia into peace. They serve no purpose other than his own satisfaction.
We wonder where Zelensky will make his next tourist trip.
