There are protests again in central London. Protests continue despite restrictions. Thousands of people continue their protest habits, regardless of Trump’s peace plan and its acceptance by Hamas and Israel.
There are even arrests. Why are people still in the streets despite the peace plan being accepted by Hamas and Israel?
1- Perhaps they don’t want peace. Reaction has become their habit, and by reacting, they are trying to show that they are human. 2- They don’t care about peace. While they want peace in Gaza, they think blocking roads, flying flags on bridges, and creating chaos in London is humane. 3- Prime Minister Starmer did something no one expected and announced that they would recognize Palestine as a state, but apparently this step isn’t enough for the protesters.
They may also want Starmer to declare war on Israel. Meanwhile, the police’s attitude towards the protesters is incredibly relaxed. There is no violence. Perhaps this composure is driving people to take to the streets.
