From April, the television license fee will increase by £5.50 to £180. This means that citizens will now be working for the BBC’s idiotic programs. The BBC, with its countless useless channels and only BBC News being watched, continues to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds to the people it hires to produce programs, using money collected from the public.
The reason the BBC constantly increases the money it collects from the public is less about economic reasons and more about the incredible sums it pays to the people it hires and its management.
The BBC, which doesn’t even accept advertising, should stop treating the public like cash cows. If the BBC constantly needs money, then it should start accepting advertising. If it’s going to burden the public, then it should burden advertising and start accepting ads like BBC America. We shouldn’t have to feed the BBC’s idiotic programs and useless channels. The BBC needs to stop raising prices whenever it feels like it.
