Trump is in a desperate situation. In a televised address to the American people, Trump was unenthusiastic. His former arrogant, self-satisfied self was gone. He spoke as if pleading. He knows that a senseless war is unnecessary and he’s trying to convince the public of this, but his demeanor reveals that he doesn’t believe it himself.

He says he’ll end the war soon, but he doesn’t know when because there’s no plan, no project. Worse still, he’s made the Pentagon resemble himself. The mighty America has been reduced to an ordinary country, now a giant piece of paper. The US bubble has burst, the Israeli bubble has burst. Americans now accept that the war is foolish and that it’s not their war. 86% of the public is against the war with Iran. Young people, in particular, openly say they don’t want this war. The question of why Trump started this war is one of the most frequently asked questions.
There’s incredible criticism of Trump on US television. From those calling him an imbecile to those calling him stupid, there are dozens of critical programs every night. The unanimous statement of almost all participants is that the USA and Israel have lost this war. Despite the bombs raining down on Iran, programs portraying the US and Israel as the winners of the war are among the most watched.
Another common sentiment is that Trump has lost his mind, having shocked the world by saying of the Saudi Prince, “He’ll come and kiss my ass.” The USA and Trump haven’t just lost the war with Iran; they’ve also lost their allies. It’s openly stated that Trump is the reason his most important allies have abandoned him, constantly threatening them and mentioning his intention to invade Canada and Greenland.
Apart from Fox TV’s pro-Trump broadcasts that treat the public like fools, no one else defends the war. Trump’s facade has crumbled.
