Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced a £53 million support package to help “vulnerable” households affected by the sharp rise in heating fuel prices.
The government has finally begun to see the plight of the people. As the elections approach, Starmer’s £53 million aid, which shows a better understanding of the public’s situation, will at least give people renewed hope.
That’s a good thing.
The aid, especially for pensioners, is very important and will make people happy to be citizens of the country again.
Starmer has finally seen the reality, and deserves applause.
