Three days ago, police raided two of Mandelson’s houses, rang the doorbell, searched the premises, looked in a safe, and most likely found nothing. The police chief stated that it was a complex case and that more evidence was needed.
Nothing remains from a crime committed 20 years ago. Manderson Epsten wouldn’t have deposited the money into his own account because he needs to prove where the money came from, which is risky. But there could be offshore accounts, and those accounts could be linked to other places.
So, there’s no evidence, no money. Besides, Mandelson retired shortly after the incident. It will be as the police officer said; the case will yield no results.
