British billionaire and Manchester United Co-Owner Sir Jim Ratcliff has stated that the UK is being colonized by immigrants. Ratcliff may be right when looking at the number of immigrants, but he should also consider the recent Epstein trials and be far more concerned about individuals like Mandelson and Andrew, who are accused of providing classified government documents to Epstein. Because immigrants may not have direct access to classified government information, but those close to and within the government have easier access to such documents.
Secondly, Ratcliff should be aware that his statement about the UK being colonized by immigrants will be met with counter-arguments. A Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Ugandan, or Ghanaian immigrant could come forward and say: ‘You exploited our countries for years, enslaved us, and colonized our lands. Now it’s our turn. We are trying to reclaim at least some of what you took from us in the UK.’ We don’t have enough numbers or strength for this, but simply by living in this country, we are recovering a portion of what the UK owes us.
Ratcliff would do well to remember that a significant part of his wealth is owed to the countries he colonized.
