Police have begun dealing with “probably.” Police, who launched a manhunt after the mistaken release of an immigrant sex offender from Epping, said the offender was “probably in London.”
“Probably!” is the key phrase. Prison officials and guards likely also thought the prisoner was “probably” in his cell.
We wrote about it yesterday, and today other media outlets have begun to question it. How could a prisoner be mistakenly released? There’s likely intent, or collaborators involved.
The prison system has been brought up for debate. How a prisoner was mistakenly released remains elusive, and there are no answers yet. Police and prison officials must address these questions rather than simply “probably.” Similar prison escapes have occurred before.
But “probably,” no one will answer.
