Trump continues to treat European countries as his puppets. Having forced European countries to impose sanctions on Russia due to the Ukraine war, and now finding himself helpless against Iran, he has unilaterally lifted the embargo on Russia to make the Strait of Hormuz functional again. He stated, “Countries that wish can buy oil from Russia.”
He made this decision unilaterally, without consulting his allies, without considering their leaders as human beings, and disregarding their independence. He expects all European countries to accept and implement this decision, but it didn’t happen. European countries didn’t even take Trump’s unilateral decision to lift the embargo seriously. Because the European countries are under threat from Russia, not the USA. Trump and the USA love to stay aloof and cause trouble for European countries. Then they disappear, and the countries are left alone to deal with the problem.
First France, then England, and now Germany have reacted strongly to Trump’s decision. Actually, what Trump did was a blatant attack on their sovereignty, but because they didn’t dare say it, they reacted to the decision to lift the embargo.
European countries must now stop fearing the USA and loudly declare: ‘European countries are not Trump’s and the USA’s playthings.’ German Chancellor Mertz openly reacted and declared that they did not recognize the decision. He went even further and announced that they would not follow Trump’s unilateral decision regarding the security of the Strait of Hormuz. The German Defense Minister also stated, ‘The war between Israel, the USA, and Iran is not a NATO war. This war is not a war for European countries. This war is not our war. We do not want to be a party to this war.’
European countries are experiencing a tremendous awakening thanks to Trump. Trump exposed their stupidity and they couldn’t stomach his threats: ‘You and your countries are nothing. Without the USA, there would be no NATO, and no European countries.’ UK Prime Minister Starmer, for the first time, made a correct statement, emphasizing that they would not directly participate in the war and saying, “What matters to us are national interests.”
Trump wants to drag other world leaders into his own folly, but that era is over. Trump can continue to be a puppet of Israel.
