Turkey, Europe’s gateway to migrants, has closed its doors to new Iranian migrants, just as it did to the more than 19 million Syrian refugees, avoiding the mistake it made in Syria. But preventing the few Iranian migrants who did arrive was easy. So, what would Turkish border forces do if 3 million Iranians tried to cross the border? Would they resort to violence?
