If inflation rises, Rachel Reeves has an excuse ready: War.

British Finance Minister Rachel Reeves seized the opportunity and immediately fabricated an excuse, saying inflation would rise and that the war was the reason. Prime Minister Starmer also said the war would affect the country’s economy, but there’s no economy in the country anymore…

The high cost of living, food inflation, banks unilaterally raising mortgage interest rates, record unemployment, and thousands of businesses closing already showed that the economy wasn’t doing well. We used to blame the government’s incompetence, but now the government has a brand new reason: War.

As for oil prices, there’s still no word. Oil prices have skyrocketed in many countries around the world, but Europe hasn’t yet faced this threat. The foolish attack on Iranian refineries, the Israeli and American idiots who thought they could change the regime in Iran, will have messed up the world when they realize that won’t happen.

The only way to change the regime in Iran was to mobilize the Iranian people and make them opposition figures. However, bombing all of Iran’s cities, launching missiles indiscriminately at civilian and military targets, and causing the deaths of civilians, did nothing but unite the people instead of dividing them. The opposition people who took to the streets and intervened against the regime months ago are now siding with the regime, not against it. The Iranian people haven’t yet fled their country and massed at the Turkish border. They are not like the Syrian people, or even the Iraqi people. They haven’t fled their country, and they aren’t fleeing. Even if they wanted to, even if they wanted to hate, they are forced to side with the regime because what Israel and the USA are doing is no better than what the regime is doing. Trump, who until yesterday said, “If you kill your people, I will intervene in your country,” is now destroying the Iranian people with missiles.

Unlike the people of Syria and Iraq, Iranians have seen that Israeli and US intervention brings not freedom and democracy, but only major problems and the fragmentation of countries. Therefore, in Iran, US and Israeli intervention is seen not as the beginning of liberation, but as the beginning of a new enslavement.

The US has no plan. Israel has a plan, and the US appears to be a clueless player in this plan.

Conclusion: Yes, inflation may rise, but it is also the government’s duty to be prepared for the worst-case scenario.
