The Conservative Party has embraced the idea of leaving the European Court of Human Rights, one of Nigel Farage’s election promises. In a statement released today, it was announced that if the Conservative Party wins the next election, they will withdraw the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
As the immigration problem becomes increasingly serious, the idea of leaving the ECHR is increasingly appearing as a legitimate right. It’s worth noting that this idea is gaining ground within society. The European Court of Human Rights overturns some decisions, particularly regarding illegal immigrants. Even when some criminals are deported, they can appeal to the ECHR and halt decisions made by the British courts.

Conservative Party Chair Kemi Badenoch is also trying to attract votes from ReformUK with this plan. ReformUK’s vote share is steadily increasing and it remains the leading party in the polls. We don’t know if the public will vote for a copy while the original is still available, but what we do know and see is that the failure of Labour and the Conservatives has made ReformUK a prominent alternative.
