US President Donald Trump has said his truest statement since taking office. He criticized European leaders for being “weak,” suggesting the US could reduce its support for Ukraine.
We’ve been saying for months that European leaders are weak. There are no courageous, risk-taking leaders. To date, all European leaders have followed the US leaders. The US made the decisions, and they simply followed them.
They are prisoners of fear regarding Ukraine. They all fear that Russia will one day invade Europe. Because of this fear, they lack the courage to even take initiative on Ukraine.
Indeed, looking at the meetings Macron, Starmer, and other leaders had with Trump, they went to ask for help, waiting for a signal from him. There are strange leaders in Europe who lack the ability to govern, who don’t know their people, and who shift the risk to US leaders…
Trump knows this fact, which is why he constantly belittles them, but even though they are aware of it, they cannot react because they are afraid of angering the US and losing their positions.
The USA will eventually withdraw its support for Ukraine, and European leaders will be left alone with Russia. The fear of Russia they anticipated will come knocking on their doors even more, and they will search for the real players who will pull strings, but they won’t find them.
Because of these incompetent, incompetent leaders, Europe has already surrendered to far-right figures. Unfortunately, the people have no choice but to vote for the far-right. And these cowardly leaders have nothing to do but push the people into the far-right’s clutches.
