Jeremy Corbyn, one of the UK’s most senior MPs, who founded the new party, revealed a well-known but widely heard truth in a television interview when he responded to the host’s questions about immigration.
He asked the host, who was responding to negative questions about immigration, this crucial question: “Have you ever been to a hospital? Have you ever looked at the people working there? If you’re not biased, that is, if you’re not anti-immigrant, you can easily see this: Immigrants have permeated the very core of this country. A significant number of them work in the service sector. Doctors, nurses, and many other healthcare professionals are immigrants.”
Corbyn echoed what we often say: “Yes, there are some bad immigrants, but there’s no point in portraying them as bad people and making them enemies. Because no matter where you go in this country, you’ll encounter immigrants. You’ll see millions of immigrants working in restaurants, warehouses, farms, and agricultural fields. They add value to the country and have a significant positive impact on the economy.”
Look at those who oppose immigration! Most of them are either unemployed, rely on government assistance, or work no more than 18 hours a week. Yet, there are immigrants who work 72 hours a week. There are immigrants who work 12 hours a day, six days a week, nonstop. Naturally, these earn more and live in more comfortable conditions. They drive the most expensive cars and live in the most expensive homes. This generates immense jealousy among anti-immigrants.
Immigrants are the lifeblood of this country. They are a segment of society that should be cherished. Those who commit crimes and exploit the system for their own gain exist in every regime and every era. The state is responsible for identifying these individuals and taking the necessary action.
