To cover his own neck in the Epstein case, US President Trump ordered the FBI to investigate Epstein’s relationship with Democrats. While he has hundreds of questions to answer, if he needs to explain his relationship with Epstein, he’s trying to drag out the case, obscure it, and save himself by blaming Democrats.
Let’s say all Democratic US presidents, starting with Bill Clinton, had connections with Epstein, and that Epstein, the pedophile, sent them little girls, but that doesn’t erase Trump’s actions. It only reveals that Democrats committed the same heinous crime.
Trump is trying to blame Democrats to lessen his own guilt, but that won’t work. The FBI’s instructions demonstrate Trump’s genuine fear. In this case, the FBI is not obligated to follow Trump’s instructions because the FBI cannot act according to the wishes of US law enforcement agencies and presidents, not Trump’s. Another aspect of Trump’s instructions is that the FBI must find similarly shameful connections with Democrats. He has to get me out of this situation.
The Epstein case is starting to come back to haunt Trump.
